Description: Thick black smoke and flames were seen rising from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh after Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement claimed it had attacked the airport with a ballistic missile. Video footage showed a column of smoke rising from the airport premises, along with a white flash.

A witness and three people briefed on the matter said smoke was seen coming from a stationary aircraft. Saudi authorities had not immediately confirmed the reported incident.
