The typhoon has slowed down a lot compared to the original forecast, and it's expected to pass offshore near Tokyo tonight. So while the rain falls outside, we're staying safely at home and doing some autumn cooking!

Now that autumn has arrived, I've been wanting to cook with some more seasonal flavors, and apples immediately came to mind!
I also have some cream cheese left in my fridge, so we're combining the two to make...
Apple Pie Cheesecake! 🍎🥧🍰
I've actually made an apple pie cheesecake before and it turned out really nice, but today we're trying a completely new recipe!
Hopefully this version turns out just as delicious or even better!
But that's not the only apple experiment today.
I've had some homemade applesauce sitting in my freezer for a LONG time, so it's finally time to use it!
I'm going to see if we can turn it into homemade apple butter! 🍎✨
I've never tried making apple butter from frozen applesauce before, so I'm curious to see how it turns out.
And we're not only cooking today!
I'll also tell you about the Twitch party I attended recently, talk about some of the people I met there, and show you some photos from the event! 📸✨
