CONFIRMED: Iran DECIMATES 81 American Aircraft; F-35 Among HIT In Direct Fire Over Middle East

Description: The US military has lost or damaged at least 81 aircraft, drones and helicopters during operations against Iran, according to an updated Congressional Research Service report. The list includes 12 F-15E fighters, an F-35A, A-10 attack aircraft, at least 45 MQ-9 Reapers, KC-135 tankers and an E-3 Sentry. A Congressional Budget Office estimate puts replacement costs for wider equipment losses at up to $3.3 billion, while the conflict’s total cost has reached $43.6 billion.
