How to Recover Your Signal PIN If Forgotten

Description: If you’ve forgotten your Signal PIN, this video shows how to recover it depending on whether you still have access to the device where you are currently signed in. Open the Signal app, tap your profile picture in the top left corner, go to Settings, select Account, and tap Change your PIN. If you are still signed in, you can create and confirm a new PIN immediately. However, if you no longer have access to the old device, the process depends on whether Registration Log is enabled. If Registration Log is enabled, you must wait seven days before registering again to create a new PIN. If Registration Log is disabled, you can register your phone number once again without waiting, but you will lose profile information, settings, and blocked contacts connected to the old PIN. Your existing chat history remains separate and will not be automatically restored by creating a new PIN.
