(Pt 2) This Subaru Almost STUMPED ME!! ('13 Crosstrek: WEIRD Crank-STALL??)

Here we go with the POSSESSED 2013 Subaru Crosstrek.
After running PERFECTLY for almost an HOUR, I was ready to gather up my tools and get back to it when it finally decides to act up...
Just for kicks I decided to crank it one more time...and BOOM it sounded like the engine BUCKED hard, tried to start...and STALLED OUT! HA, the GHOST IS BACK!!
Let's hook up the PicoScope again and figure out what the heck this ECM is doing to the ignition coils based on the key inputs: [CKP, CMP].
The data shows something VERY strange...during CRANKING *sometimes* the CKP signal looks like GARBAGE and the engine has a hard time starting. Once it's running, the signal looks decent. Other times it fires up instantly and the CKP signal looks great!
What the HECK could explain this bizarre behavior?
-Failing CKP once it heats up?
-Poor grounding somewhere?
-Some sort of interference?
We're hot on the trail, but this Subaru won't give in easily...we're in for a BATTLE.
