Strangely, it's also incredibly cool for August today!
After so many days of extreme summer heat, it suddenly feels more like autumn outside. 🍂
It's definitely unusual weather for making today's food...

Because today we're making Japanese summer treats and desserts! 🍧✨

I'll be making kakigori, Japan's famous fluffy shaved ice dessert, along with some other treats that are perfect for a hot Japanese summer.

The weather might not exactly match the theme today 😂, but it'll be fun to enjoy some classic Japanese summer flavors while listening to the rain outside.

Hopefully the typhoon won't cause too much trouble, and we can enjoy a relaxing and cozy day at home together.
