ANTI-WOKE EUROVISION? Dominic Frisby Wants to Represent Britain!
Description: Could Dominic Frisby be Britain’s answer to years of disappointing Eurovision results?
The comedian, songwriter, author and economics commentator joins the show for a gloriously unconventional campaign to get Frisby to Eurovision and shake up the UK’s approach to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Dominic discusses his satirical songs including “We’re All Far Right Now”, “Right Wing Woman” and “Govern Me Harder”, whether the BBC would ever choose him as Britain’s Eurovision entry, and why a comedy song might be exactly what the contest needs.
They also get into the BBC’s role in selecting the UK entry, Bill Bailey’s name being floated for Eurovision, how you would actually campaign to win votes across Europe, and whether Dominic could create a brand-new song specifically for the contest.
Could an irreverent, anti-establishment British entry finally get Eurovision audiences talking?
