Jay is a young assistant director who has no interest in romantic relationships and believes that true love only exists in films. His carefree attitude changes when Simran, a romantic and idealistic young woman, joins the production he is working on. Simran believes passionately in love and happily ever after, while Jay remains convinced that love is nothing more than a fictional story.
