How To Lock Apps On iPhone
Description: Lock individual apps on your iPhone so that opening one of them locks the screen behind Face ID or your passcode.
There is no single lock-apps switch in iOS, so this uses the built-in Shortcuts app: an automation that watches for the apps you pick, Facebook or a banking app for instance, and runs the Lock Screen action the moment one of them opens.
That keeps anyone who borrows your phone out of the apps you care about without hiding them or deleting them, and you can edit or remove the automation in Shortcuts at any time. Shown on an iPhone with iOS 27; the Shortcuts app is already on every iPhone.
