‘A Thorn In The Side!’ | Disgraced Ex Prince's Legal Victory Prolongs Royal Saga

Description: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has won his challenge over search warrants used to raid two properties, but the ruling does not end the criminal investigation.

Rupert Bell joins Ian Collins to discuss the legal setback and what it means for the continuing royal saga.

At the High Court on 8 October, the warrants were quashed after police accepted they had been incorrectly issued. The investigation into alleged misconduct in public office remains ongoing; Andrew denies wrongdoing.

Bell describes the saga as a “thorn in the side of the royal family”, while explaining why winning this legal challenge is not the same as clearing Andrew’s name.
