Chris Christie on 2028 Presidential Candidates

Description: Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) discusses possible 2028 presidential candidates, including himself.

On Vance: "He is going to reek with the stink of Donald Trump...JD is not nearly as charming as Trump."

On Rubio: "Unlikely to run...I don't think he wants to run against Vance."

On himself: "You run the first time full of hope. I ran the second time on principle...you don't run the third time for the experience of the exercise. So, if I decide to run a third time it's because I've seen what I think is a path that could lead to victory."

On Democrats: "I think they'd be really smart, as would the republicans, to actually nominate someone who's run something...a governor, a mayor...CEO is not governmental experience...we've had three presidents...who have never run anything."
