EWTN PLW | Full EPISODE | Wednesday, October 7, 2026
Description: A new prayer initiative from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops emphasizes the importance of opposing dangerous abortion pills. The call to action is a new wrinkle to “Respect Life Month,” a decades-long program for the faithful every October. Bishop Daniel Thomas from the Diocese of Toledo, Ohio, examines the prayer campaign, what the response has been so far and how the faithful can participate. Plus a new initiative seeks to offer life-affirming options for women’s telehealth. A church in Rome that dates from the 17th Century is set for a new chapter, as the Eternal City’s first pro-life shrine. EWTN PLW Contributor Zofia Czubak has more. And the University of Notre Dame announces the winner of its prestigious annual pro-life award.
