Tokyo Live 💖🪁 Japanese Kite Market from Edo Era! Exploring New Areas in Tokyo! ⛩️
Description: Today I'm streaming live from Tokyo, Japan!!
It's beginning to warm up a bit, and that means spring might be on the way
But today is another IRL in Tokyo!
There isn't a lot of festivals on today, but there are a lot of second hard markets around Tokyo
Unfortunately many of them are in difficult to get to places, so I wanted to find something else interesting to see
And I found a Kite market that has been running since the Edo period in Japan!
The kites are said to bring good luck and were used to protect against fires back in the Edo era, when fires were much more common and many houses burned due to being tightly packed together and made of wood
These kites are traditional and I think look really interesting!
Before the kite festival though, I'm going to explore some new areas, and maybe some new gardens and shrines!
Afterwards we'll explore towards Tokyo Dome and probably finish in a garden near there!
I hope today will be another fun and interesting day as we explore Tokyo and continue our search for beautiful wildlife and plum blossoms
