BOOM! Houthi Missiles Hunt Down Moving Saudi Army Convoy, Missiles Rain Down In Dramatic Footage
Description: Yemen’s Houthis have released new battlefield footage showing ballistic missiles being prepared and launched against positions held by Saudi-backed forces in southern Yemen as fighting intensifies.
The Houthis describe the weapons shown in the footage as locally manufactured, reinforcing their claim that their expanding missile and drone capabilities are the product of domestic military development. The United States and its regional partners have repeatedly accused Iran of supplying missile and drone technology to the group, while Tehran and the Houthis reject claims that the movement simply operates as an Iranian proxy. The footage emerges as Saudi-backed forces carry out operations against Houthi positions and Washington provides Riyadh with intelligence and targeting assistance while stopping short of direct airstrikes. By displaying ballistic missiles being used directly against battlefield formations, the Houthis are signalling that any expanding ground offensive could encounter more than conventional resistance — with the group putting its missile arsenal prominently back on display.
