ロラン・バルトの同名の著書からテキストを引用して、親密な関係を探求している。カフェで五目並べをしているカップルが、愛について話し合おうとするが、その周りを回っているだけで、近づくのは難しい。

Synopsis:
Drawing upon Roland Barthes’s work of the same name, A Lover’s Discourse looks into intimate relationships. A couple playing a game in a café tries to talk about love but merely circles the topic, hardly reaching its essence.
