'Burned Them Down...': Russia Fires Flamethrower Rockets on Ukraine's 'Hiding' Troops | Vantage | 4K

Description: In the first week of October, Russian troops confirmed the use of Thermobaric Flamethrower Rockets against Ukrainian military positions in the Krasny Lyman region next to Donbas. The TOS-1 and the TOS-2 launchers were used in the attack. The TOS systems are Soviet-era designs but pack a lethal punch due to their ability to deploy thermobaric weapons. Thermobaric flamethrower rockets are considered to be among some of the most lethal conventional weapons on the battlefield. They are used to burn down large military bases, trenches or bunkers. These rockets have a dual-detonation impact, pushing out a shockwave, followed by a massive fireball, causing internal damage and external burn wounds. As per international regulations, the use of thermobaric flamethrower rockets is legal, as long as they are being used strictly against military targets. So, why are Vladimir Putin's troops using them now? Hem Kaur Saroya tells you more on Vantage on Firstptost.
