It's another surprisingly cool summer day in Tokyo!
We've had a really nice stretch of cooler weather recently, and honestly, it's starting to feel like summer might slowly be coming to an end... 🍂
But I probably shouldn't get too hopeful yet! 😂
It's still August after all, and Tokyo could easily surprise us with another heatwave.
For now though, I'm going to enjoy the comfortable weather and spend the day exploring Tokyo!
We'll start in Ueno before walking through the busy streets of Ameyoko, one of Tokyo's most famous shopping areas. 🛍️
Then we'll make our way towards Akihabara, where we'll be spending plenty of time exploring! 🎮✨
I'm going to search for some Steins;Gate anime banners around Akihabara, check out the famous anime and electronics streets, and investigate some VERY suspicious-looking vending machines... 👀😂
Who knows what we're going to find inside those?!
After Akihabara, we'll make our way over to Tokyo Dome City! 🎢
We'll explore around the area, see what's happening, and finish our journey after another big walk through Tokyo.
So today should have a little bit of everything—busy markets, anime, weird vending machines, Tokyo streets, and hopefully some nice cool summer weather!
