Pooran discards Luna’s insinuations, leaving Luna feeling insulted and enraged. Becoming hateful & hostile towards Pooran, Luna meets her husband King Salvaan to whom she weeps and lies that Pooran had assaulted her. She convinces the King by tampering with her bangles and clothing, which look to be in conditions that corroborate her story. The King immediately calls his guards and gives them orders to arrest Pooran, and sentence him to death in whichever way Luna deems fit. Upon hearing this news, Pooran’s mother Ichhra is devastated, and ruminates on Pooran’s tragic & ill fate.
