Watch This Hades: Wrath of the Gods Concept Trailer
What if the most feared god of the Underworld was never a monster, but a forgotten brother who spent eternity carrying the burden his family refused to face? This fan-made concept trailer imagines Hades: Wrath of the Gods for 2027, with Ryan Gosling starring as Hades, the ruler of the dead who received the Underworld after the fall of the Titans while his brothers claimed the heavens and the sea. Mads Mikkelsen plays Zeus, the powerful King of Olympus who erased his own brother's name from the halls of heaven and treats the Underworld as a prison rather than a kingdom. When the balance between life and death begins to collapse and countless souls escape into the mortal world, Hades descends into the deepest depths of Tartarus to discover the source of the catastrophe.
There he encounters Ben Stiller as Kronos, the ancient Titan King and father of the Olympian gods, who is rebuilding himself from the stone of his prison after thousands of years of consuming his own rage. Kronos offers Hades the ultimate temptation: revenge against the family that abandoned him and the destruction of the Olympus that forgot his name. But when Zeus decides to seal the Underworld permanently, willing to bury his own brother alongside the returning Titan, Elle Fanning enters the darkness as Persephone, the Goddess of Spring, who discovers that Hades is not the monster the gods describe, but the only force protecting the fragile boundary between life and death. I personally created every storyboard and visual in this "What If" concept from scratch, building a dark Greek mythology epic about betrayal, ancient gods, family, redemption, and the power of choosing compassion in a world that has never shown you any.
Every visual in this HD concept trailer was designed and built by me to create a haunting cinematic world filled with black marble temples, rivers of lost souls, shattered statues of the Olympians, colossal gates of Tartarus, and ancient monsters emerging from the darkness. As Kronos grows stronger and the Underworld begins collapsing around him, Hades discovers that the destruction spreading through his kingdom threatens to consume the living world itself. Persephone ventures deeper into the realm of the dead and sees beyond Hades's terrifying appearance to the lonely god who has carried the weight of death for thousands of years without recognition, while Zeus gathers the forces of Olympus to destroy the very kingdom that has maintained the balance of creation. Trapped between a father offering vengeance and a brother who has never offered him love, Hades must decide whether to become the weapon Kronos wants or protect a world that has never welcomed him.
He dons the legendary Helm of Darkness, unleashes Cerberus, and marches into Tartarus to confront his father in a devastating battle among collapsing stone bridges, rivers of fire, enormous chains, and the ruins of the Titans' ancient prison. Every strike threatens to tear apart the foundations of the Underworld as Hades fights not for a throne or revenge, but to prevent the destruction of every living soul. The final confrontation forces him to reject the hatred that defined his existence and embrace the responsibility he has carried in silence for millennia. As the Underworld begins to heal and the escaped souls return to their rightful realm, Hades stands among the ruins with Persephone beside him, finally understanding that his worth was never determined by the kingdom his brothers left him. He was not simply the god who ruled over the dead. He was the one who protected the living by keeping death where it belonged.
