The Claudettes - LIVE from the Fallout Shelter
Description: The Claudettes perform live at The Fallout Shelter in Norwood, MA as part of the Extended Play Sessions on October 9, 2026.
The Claudettes are a Chicago art-rock band known for their piano-driven "garage cabaret" sound, grounded in blues and jazz while pushing the boundaries of rock. Featuring Rachel Williams on vocals, Johnny Iguana on piano, vocals, and songwriting, Zach Verdoorn on bass, guitar, and vocals, and Liz Ele on drums, the band has released six albums on Forty Below Records and Yellow Dog Records and earned international acclaim for its theatrical, genre-defying live shows. Bandleader Johnny Iguana has recorded with Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Derek Trucks, Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards, and composed the score for the Emmy-winning FX/Hulu series "The Bear."
The Fallout Shelter is an all ages 100-seat performance venue and state-of-the-art broadcast and recording studio, offering one of the most unique live music experiences in New England. Located in Norwood, MA, just 15 miles from Boston, The Fallout Shelter is run under the auspices of the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and advocating for traditional American Roots music.
