Selwyn Birchwood Band - LIVE from the Fallout Shelter
Description: Selwyn Birchwood performs live at The Fallout Shelter in Norwood, MA as part of the Extended Play Sessions on October 2, 2026.
Selwyn Birchwood is an Alligator Records recording artist, guitarist, singer, and songwriter who blends gritty gutbucket blues with contemporary groove. Known for his barefoot stage presence, soulful gravel-voiced vocals, and signature Caladesi lap steel guitar playing, Birchwood has won over blues fans and jam band fans alike with his high-energy live shows. With his warm, magnetic personality and a band that feeds off his energy, he turns every night into an electrifying, crowd-pleasing performance. Joe Bonamassa has called him one of his favorite discoveries, and Guitar World named him the real deal.
The Fallout Shelter is an all ages 100-seat performance venue and state-of-the-art broadcast and recording studio, offering one of the most unique live music experiences in New England. Located in Norwood, MA, just 15 miles from Boston, The Fallout Shelter is run under the auspices of the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and advocating for traditional American Roots music.
