Trump campaigns in Ohio to half-packed arena as pushback to his Russian diesel deal grows

Description: President Donald Trump was in Ohio on Monday night for the second time in less than two weeks, campaigning on behalf of Republican candidates. He held a rally in Youngstown — an area he won by 11 percentage points back in 2024. But the president's support was not as strong as in the past amid rising food and fuel prices, as entire sections of the arena and upper levels sat mostly empty. Meanwhile, bipartisan backlash over Trump’s diesel deal with Russia and Vladimir Putin continues to grow. Nancy Youssef, a staff writer at The Atlantic covering national security and the Defense Department, joins Way Too Early with analysis.
