India Rips Into Pakistan at UN Over Cross-Border Terrorism

Description: India has accused Pakistan of losing control over the terrorism it allegedly fostered, saying the violence has now turned back on the country itself. Speaking at the UN General Assembly’s Sixth Committee, Indian diplomat Raghoo Puri said Pakistan portrays itself as both a frontline state and a victim of terrorism while concealing its alleged role in creating militant groups.

Puri cited remarks by a Pakistani provincial chief minister and a 2018 interview with a former prime minister, warning that Pakistan ‘cannot run with the hare and hunt with the hounds’. He called for stronger global action against states that sponsor terrorism.
