Korea Live 💖🇰🇷 I Made a HUGE Travel Mistake… Almost Stranded in Seoul! 😭🚆

Today we're heading back outside for another morning adventure around Jamsil, Seokchon Lake and Lotte World!
But before we start exploring, I have a little story to tell you...
I made a BIG mistake. 😭🚆
Last night, I was having dinner with some of the SOOP staff and told them that I was planning to travel from Seoul to Busan today.
Then they asked me a very important question...
"Did you book your train ticket?"
...No. 😭
I assumed it would be similar to Japan, where I can often reserve a train the day before—or sometimes even shortly before leaving.
What I didn't realize was that we're currently in a major holiday period in South Korea!
When I checked, the trains were basically SOLD OUT.
The buses were booked too.
And booking a flight this late was going to be extremely expensive. ✈️💸
For a while, I genuinely wasn't sure how I was going to get to Busan today!
Thankfully, I got VERY lucky.
After searching, I managed to find ONE remaining seat on a much slower train to Busan! 🚆🇰🇷
It definitely wasn't the journey I originally planned, but at this point I'm just extremely happy that I managed to get a ticket at all!
Unfortunately, because the train takes much longer, today's live stream will have to be much shorter than usual.
We'll only have around 2–3 hours together this morning before I need to stop streaming and start making my way towards the train.
Sorry for the short stream today! I have definitely learned an important lesson about traveling during Korean holidays. 😭
But before my unexpected slow journey to Busan begins, we still have time for a little more Seoul exploration!
We'll be spending the morning around Jamsil and the beautiful Seokchon Lake. 🏰🍂
We'll walk around the lake, enjoy the views of Lotte World's Magic Island and its famous castle, and explore more of the surrounding neighborhood.
We'll also get some incredible views of the enormous Lotte World Tower, the tallest building in South Korea! 🏙️
If we have enough time, we'll explore around Songnidan-gil and the Lotte World Mall area too.
So today's stream might be short, but there's quite an adventure waiting for us afterwards!
