The vision for this Datsun is simple: Maximum impact. We’ve got the Liberty Walk widebody kit to give it that legendary silhouette, but we’re taking it several steps further with custom Gullwing doors and a heart transplant that’s going to shock the purists—a massive Mercedes V8.
We’re deep into the heavy fabrication now, and the "to-do" list is finally getting some big items ticked off.
In this episode:
The Roll Cage: Finishing up the structural backbone. It’s tight, it’s tucked, and it’s essential for handling that V8 torque.
Dash Restoration: Tackling the front dash sections. We’re getting the interior structure back where the cut-out's for the roll cage are.
Windscreen Gussets: Custom-making and welding in the gussets to bridge the gap between the cage
This isn't just a restomod; it’s a ground-up re-engineering of an icon.
