Mamdani Demands ICE Exit From NYC After Man Shot With Child In Car | MAMDANI LIVE
Description: New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani says he will demand that US President Donald Trump end ICE enforcement operations in the city after a federal immigration agent shot and wounded a man in Marble Hill, New York. The incident occurred during a targeted enforcement operation, with Mamdani saying the man was in a vehicle with a five-year-old child, who was reportedly unharmed. The Department of Homeland Security said agents were attempting to arrest a Dominican Republic national with a prior grand-larceny conviction and multiple prior arrests, and confirmed that an ICE officer fired a weapon. The shooting has intensified scrutiny of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, while officials and witnesses continue to raise questions about the circumstances surrounding the use of force.
