‘NO $5,000 CHECK FOR YOU!’: Trump Warns About Midterm Dividend If Red State Fails; Crowd BOOS
Description: Donald Trump has tied a dramatic $5,000 “Trump dividend” to Republican control of Congress, telling voters that every adult American would receive the money if the GOP wins both the House and Senate in the midterm elections.
Speaking at his Nebraska rally, Trump called it a “big promise” and said: “If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate, I am going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America $5,000.” He later repeated: “If the Republicans win, you will each have $5,000 in your pocket.”
