What a difference a day makes!
Yesterday we stayed home while the typhoon brought heavy rain to Tokyo, but today the storm has passed and the sunshine is back! ☀️
It's going to be warm again today, although it's also VERY windy after the typhoon. Hopefully we'll still have some beautiful weather for exploring Tokyo!
Normally today would be one of my indoor stream days, but I have plans to meet my aunt with my sister after the stream, so I decided to go outside today instead 🚶♀️
We'll start our adventure around Tokyo Station and make our way through central Tokyo, walking past the Imperial Palace as we head towards today's main destination.
And today we're visiting a more traditional Japanese festival...
The Toyokawa Inari Ooka-Echizen Festival! ⛩️🏮
We've visited all kinds of festivals around Tokyo recently, from huge dance events to lively street festivals, but today should give us a chance to experience a different and more traditional side of Japanese festival culture.
I'm excited to explore the area, see what's happening around the temple, and share the atmosphere of the festival with everyone!
And of course, getting there is part of our adventure too!
We'll start around Tokyo Station, walk through the beautiful Imperial Palace area, and explore central Tokyo along the way before arriving at Toyokawa Inari. 🌳🏯
After yesterday's typhoon and heavy rain, it should be really nice to get back outside and see Tokyo under blue skies again—even if we might get blown around by the wind a little! ☀️💨
