Should the Pirates Shut Down Paul Skenes? The Ace's Velocity Is Down

Description: Paul Skenes is struggling, and the Pittsburgh Pirates are taking notice after moving the ace's next start back three days to give him additional rest. But is extra rest enough, or should the Pirates consider shutting Skenes down altogether? His velocity has dipped, and he's coming off some of the worst starts of his young MLB career, raising questions about whether he's simply hitting a rough patch or if something more serious could be going on. Brad Evans and Pat Boyle break down Skenes' struggles, the velocity concerns and whether Pittsburgh should prioritize protecting its young superstar.
