চার বছরের মধ্যে ১ কোটি ৬০ লাখ থেকে ২ কোটি ১০ লাখ পরিবারকে ফ্যামিলি কার্ডের আওতায় আনতে চায় সরকার। এ লক্ষ্যে আজ থেকে দেশের ৭১১টি স্থানে শুরু হচ্ছে তথ্য সংগ্রহ। আগামী ৩০ নভেম্বরের মধ্যে ৩ থেকে ৪ কোটি পরিবারের তথ্য সংগ্রহের লক্ষ্য নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন সমাজকল্যাণমন্ত্রী ডা. এ জেড এম জাহিদ হোসেন।
The government aims to bring between 16 million and 21 million families under the 'Family Card' scheme within four years. To this end, data collection begins today at 711 locations across the country. Social Welfare Minister Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain stated that a target has been set to collect data from 30 million to 40 million families by November 30.
