Story:
Sonic the Hedgehog is the fastest thing alive… right?
After Sonic fails to grab the last Chaos Emerald from Dr. Eggman, Knuckles starts questioning his speed. Sonic refuses to take the disrespect and decides there’s only one way to settle the argument is with a race.
But when Sonic pushes himself beyond his limits, something goes horribly wrong. His speed becomes unstable, Tails loses contact with him, and Sonic ends up breaking through reality itself.
Now trapped between different realities, Sonic eventually finds himself in a strange void face to face with a mysterious being. For once, Sonic stops trying to prove how fast he is and admits what’s really been bothering him. He feels like nobody understands why he holds back, and he’s tired of constantly having to prove himself to the people around him.
The mysterious being gives Sonic some unexpected advice about his abilities, his limits and why he shouldn’t live his life chasing everyone else’s approval.
But Sonic still has to make it back home… and once he returns to the battle, it becomes clear that his problems aren’t over yet.
