Description: A shocking mid-air incident aboard a Flydubai passenger flight has raised serious questions about cockpit security and aviation safety. Flight FZ1073, carrying 175 people and heading towards Israel, reportedly plunged more than 17,000 feet in under two minutes before making an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, an Omani co-pilot allegedly attacked Indian captain Smit Machchhar and attempted to take control of the aircraft. Despite reportedly being stabbed, Captain Machchhar fought back and helped bring the aircraft to safety.
