Description: In her talk, Jaden explores how culture and personal perspective influence the way we interpret the world around us. Two people can experience the same situation and come away with completely different understandings because of the backgrounds, values, and experiences they bring with them, and considers how recognizing these differences can help us better understand people whose perspectives may initially seem unfamiliar. Jaden is a student at the International School Bangkok who is interested in culture, perspective, and the ways different experiences influence how people understand the world. Being part of an international community has encouraged her to think about how much our understanding of reality depends on the perspective we bring to it.
