The best duo to ever duo is back. Death From Above 1979 have returned with a new sonf Private Lives, and a new album announcement with the same name.
DFA 1979 have inspired a lot of copycat bands, but no one has ever been able to do it as good as Jesse and Sebastian. The broke up in 2006, came back in 2011, and have been releasing pretty good records ever since.
This new one sounds like it could be their best since 2004's You're a Woman, Im A Machine. "Private Lives" doesn't utilize a ton of overdubs like their last few records, and uses emptiness as an advantage. The riffs are huge, the melody is catchy, and we're pumped as hell.
