'Unworthy, Weak...': Zelensky Lashes Out After Trump-Putin Diesel Deal Ahead of Midterms | FP Video

Description: US President Donald Trump has announced a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin to release Russian diesel into the US and global markets amid a global oil crisis. The US Treasury Department has issued a temporary licence allowing Russian diesel to flow to global markets through April 2027. The move comes weeks before the November 3 US midterm elections, raising concerns over sanctions relief for Moscow and the potential funding of Russia's war in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia has launched fresh strikes on Ukraine's southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia, killing at least eight people, including three children, according to local authorities. The strikes come as Ukrainian and European officials meet in Miami in a renewed diplomatic push to end the Russia-Ukraine war. The Kremlin has confirmed Moscow's readiness to supply oil, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called Trump's decision 'unworthy' and 'weak'.
