Beyond What You See | Zohra Ameen | TEDxJSS Private School Youth

Description: “Beyond What You See” explores the unseen stories that exist behind every face we encounter. We often form assumptions based on what we see, without knowing the experiences, emotions or struggles that shape the person beneath the surface. Through personal experiences and reflections, this talk explores the power of looking beyond first impressions, understanding the stories we cannot see, and recognizing the impact we can have on someone else’s journey, sometimes without even realizing it. Zohra Ameen has explored storytelling from almost every possible angle. Her work has taken her through television production, filmmaking, editing, content creation, presenting, advertising, live events, and radio. She is also a self-taught fashion designer and a radio presenter at Mirchi Dubai. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
