Orphaned At Three, Then Taken Hostage | Abigail Idan’s Aunt Recounts Hamas Horror
Description: “They shot him in his head and he fell on her.”
Abigail Idan's aunt, Ella Mor, joins Kevin O’Sullivan to recount how her three-year-old niece survived the murder of both parents during Hamas’s October 7 attack, before being taken hostage in Gaza.
Ella says Abigail spent 51 days in captivity, turning four before her release. Her older siblings survived by hiding in a cupboard for 14 hours.
Now, the family is focused on protecting the children’s privacy and helping them rebuild their lives. Ella describes Abigail as a happy, clever and much-loved little girl.
“They had no mercy. Hamas has no mercy, and the world has to know about it.”
