Jumanji: Open World (2026) - Dwayne Johnson & Kevin Hart | The Game BREAKS OUT Into The Real World!
Description: #JumanjiOpenWorld #DwayneJohnson #KevinHart
The Jumanji game is done being played. In the final film of the franchise, the avatars escape the console and bring jungle chaos into the real world, and the first trailer proves this Christmas will never be the same.
Sony Pictures releases Jumanji: Open World in theaters December 25, 2026, shifting from its original December 11 date to land exactly one week after Dune: Part Three and Avengers: Doomsday. Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan all return as the beloved avatars, this time glitching in reality in what the trailer calls demo mode, with Danny DeVito, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, and the original teen cast joining the adventure. Jake Kasdan directs from a script he co-wrote with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Johnson confirmed this is the final Jumanji film and revealed he wore the original prop dice from Robin Williams' 1995 classic around his neck during the entire shoot as a personal tribute. The previous two reboot films earned over 1.7 billion dollars worldwide combined, and the first trailer for Open World dropped on July 28, 2026.
Watch this video until the very end for the complete story behind the demo mode twist, the emotional Robin Williams tribute, the full returning cast list, and why Sony is betting everything on Christmas Day.
