Description: Glen Campbell began a five-week run at No.1 on the US album chart with 'Wichita Lineman.' Jimmy Webb was inspired to write the lyrics while driving through Washita County, Oklahoma, where he saw a lone telephone lineman on a pole and imagined what he might be saying into the phone.
