The Science Behind a Movie Twist | Ryan George Mathew | TEDxUnion Christian Public School Youth

Description: “The Science Behind a Movie Twist” explores why we can see the truth and still believe something else, revealing how our brains shape the way we interpret what we see. Through movies, Ryan invites us to look beyond the twist and question the stories our own minds create. Ryan George Mathew is a Grade XII student, an avid reader and a passionate calligrapher who enjoys expressing himself through words, creativity and the arts. His interests include writing, public speaking, photography and exploring new experiences. As a School House Captain and a member of the editorial team, he has discovered the value of leadership and teamwork. He was also part of the team that started Vox Populi, the school’s radio initiative, where he discovered his voice as a radio jockey. He secured the second-highest marks in the school in the Grade X Board examinations. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx Close description
