ON CAM: Iran Ally ‘CAPTURES’ Top Saudi-Backed Leader’s Home Amid DEADLY Clashes With ‘MBS Forces’

Description: Houthi forces have reportedly seized the home of Yemeni Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani following clashes with forces aligned with Yemen’s internationally recognised government south of Taiz. The reported seizure comes amid renewed fighting around the strategic city, with Houthi forces advancing through areas south of Taiz. Saudi Arabia backs Yemen’s internationally recognised government and is already involved in the renewed confrontation with the Houthis. Reuters has also reported that Riyadh and its Yemeni allies are planning a wider offensive, with Yemeni forces expected to lead operations on the ground and Saudi Arabia providing air support. The latest clashes come amid a broader escalation in Yemen after years without a comprehensive political settlement.
