Description: #LightningStrike #WildWeather #China #Lightning #Shocking #NatureIsCrazy #CaughtOnCamera #ViralVideo #SevereWeather
At approximately 18:00 on August 5, 2026, Nanning, Guangxi, China, was rocked by severe convective thunderstorms when a massive lightning bolt struck utility cables right at a village entrance!
Dashcam footage captured the intense burst of flames at the exact moment of impact. The extreme heat scorched the cables, sending thick, yellowish smoke pouring into the air, while a sudden power surge briefly knocked out the intersection's traffic lights.
Local town officials quickly coordinated with emergency power and telecom maintenance crews to assess the scene. Thankfully, staff confirmed the strike hit communication lines rather than main power grids, keeping local electricity fully functional and resulting in zero reported injuries.
