Apple ALMOST made the perfect iPad! The brand-new OLED iPad mini might just be the purest form of what an iPad was always meant to be. With a gorgeous new 8.5-inch OLED display, the powerful A20 Pro chip, a thinner and lighter design, and Apple Pencil Pro support, Apple has taken one of its most underrated products to an entirely new level.
But it's not perfect. Despite all these upgrades, Apple is still holding back some features that could've made this the ultimate iPad mini. We're talking about the lack of 120Hz ProMotion, Touch ID instead of Face ID, the new $699 starting price, and some interesting decisions about where the mini fits into Apple's iPad lineup.
In this video, I'm breaking down everything Apple got right, what it got wrong, and why, at least on paper, the OLED iPad mini might be the best expression of what an iPad should be.
Is this the iPad we've all been waiting for, or did Apple miss the opportunity to make something truly perfect?
