Deadpool 4 - Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackman | He is coming?
Description: #Deadpool4 #RyanReynolds #MarvelStudios
Ryan Reynolds broke the Marvel Cinematic Universe, made a billion dollars with an R-rating, brought Wolverine back from the dead, and then confirmed at Fanatics Fest 2026 that Deadpool 4 is officially in early development. But here is the psychological trap: there is no writer, no director, and no release date.
Reynolds admitted on stage that the film is in the earliest possible stages, teasing only that there are deep cuts from Fabian Nicieza and Gerry Duggan's legendary comic runs that he wants to explore. He is reportedly pushing hard to bring Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back for round two, along with Cable and even Storm. Industry insiders whisper a 2027 or 2030-2031 release window, strategically placed after the X-Men reboot so Deadpool can comment on the new mutants while breaking every rule of cinematic continuity. Shawn Levy, who directed Deadpool and Wolverine to $1.3 billion, has not been confirmed to return, and Marvel Studios has officially declined to comment. What exists is a star who wants it, a studio that needs it, and a fanbase that will riot without it, but nothing concrete on paper.
Watching this video through to the end will give you the complete status of this early development, every tease Reynolds dropped, and the most likely timeline for when the Merc with a Mouth will actually return.
