A Suspected Spy INSIDE The Royal Navy? | | RAF Breach Raises Security Fears
Description: Security expert Roger McMillan examines the Royal Navy espionage allegations and arrests following a reported perimeter breach at RAF Molesworth—asking what the incidents could reveal about threats to Britain’s national security.
The former director of security at Iran International TV discusses the challenge of identifying people who may have been recruited or paid to target sensitive sites, while stressing that police must establish what happened and who was responsible.
The conversation then turns to Britain’s strained relationship with Israel. McMillan argues that Israeli intelligence plays a fundamental role in protecting the UK against threats linked to Iran—and questions what would happen if that cooperation were curtailed.
“We cannot do that by having these sort of almost childish spats anymore.”
His call is for a change in policy, renewed engagement with international partners and a sharper focus on national security.
