No One Is Coming To Save You | Julie Ison | TEDxStGeorge
Description: Sometimes we stay in the familiar hard simply because we have no idea how good life could be on the other side. Through humor, heartbreak, anger, and hope, Julie Ison reveals what can happen when we stop waiting to be rescued, take radical responsibility, and choose the very next step toward a life we actually want.

Through years of coaching professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals rebuilding their lives, she has discovered that lasting success has little to do with talent or circumstances, and everything to do with ownership.
As a financial strategist and the author of No One Is Coming to Save You, Julie combines real-world coaching experience with her own journey from surviving life to intentionally creating it. Her message challenges audiences to stop waiting for permission, perfect timing, or rescue, and instead reclaim their agency. Julie's mission is simple: help people realize they are far more powerful than they've been led to believe. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx Close description
