Autistic Boy Goes From Basement to The Biggest Stage In Saudi Arabia! 🤯❤️
Description: #shorts #edits
Isaiah Kofie was investigating a strange noise coming from the basement of his Aurora, Colorado home when he found his autistic son Jude playing an old keyboard that had been sitting forgotten for who knows how long — despite never having had a single lesson in his life. Isaiah bought him a better keyboard to see what more his son could do, and Jude went on to become the lead keyboardist at their church and a viral sensation on YouTube and TikTok. When his story hit the local news, it caught the attention of Bill Magnusson, a local piano tuner who came to see Jude play in person and was floored by what he witnessed. "My first reaction was, 'This kid is Mozart-level,'" Magnusson said, later describing the experience as "like looking at the face of God." After learning that Jude's parents had immigrated from Ghana, were raising four children, and were also sending money back home to family overseas, Magnusson decided to act — using part of his own father's inheritance to buy Jude a $15,000 grand piano, estimated to be worth closer to $45,000. The piano simply showed up at their house one day, "all for free," as Jude's stunned father put it. Magnusson didn't stop there — he committed to tuning the piano once a month for the rest of his life and arranged for Jude to receive professional lessons, transforming a boy who taught himself on a forgotten keyboard into a touring musician with his own album. "We're family now," Magnusson said.
