Jacob Elordi & ‘The Dog Stars’ Cast on Joining Ridley Scott’s 50-Year Legacy, From ‘Alien’ to Today

Description: Jacob Elordi, Margaret Qualley, Josh Brolin, Guy Pearce, and director Ridley Scott go behind the scenes of ‘The Dog Stars’ to reveal what makes the renowned director's sets so different from the rest. From massive practical sets and effects to his signature multi-camera shooting style, the cast breaks down a filmmaking process that reminded them of Hollywood at its grandest while still feeling unlike anything they had experienced before.

Jacob reveals what he got wrong about Ridley’s process and why the legendary director’s collaborative approach surprised him, while Margaret reflects on the “magical” but “intimidating” experience of working at such a massive scale. Ridley traces his shooting style back to ‘Alien’ and ‘Thelma & Louise’ and reveals what drew him to each member of ‘The Dog Stars’ cast. Plus, Guy and Josh look back on working with him on ‘Prometheus,’ ‘Alien: Covenant,’ and ‘American Gangster’ and explain why even Ridley Scott veterans need time to embrace what Josh calls “the chaos that he designs.”

‘The Dog Stars’ is now playing in theaters.
