Description: Iron Man proved through his actions that he was no coward hiding inside a suit of armor. When Rhodey was captured, Tony—unable to suit up in time—improvised weapons using materials from a hardware store and single-handedly stormed the terrorists' stronghold. He discovered that the Mandarin was merely a decoy; the true villain was Killian, who had imprisoned Tony and injected Pepper with the Extremis virus. In the nick of time, the Mark 42 suit arrived to provide backup. When Killian blew up a military aircraft, causing people to plummet, Tony ingeniously used the suit to save everyone; however, during the evacuation, Iron Man was struck by a train, and the armor was shattered into pieces upon impact. Close description
