Pressure cooker German smoked sausages and sauerkraut dinner recipe!
Description: This one of my favorite dishes that I grew up eating. In my house we called it "Plato Aleman" which means "German Dish" in Spanish. It was made by braising or pressure cooking sauerkraut with smoked meats like sausages, pork chops, pork hocks and bacon.
This is a rich comforting dish that can be enjoyed with steamed potatoes, or in my case (since I don't eat carbohydrates) steamed cauliflower, which does a great job of absorbing the delicious juices from this dish.
Ingredients List:
- Smoked Sausages and other smoked meats
- Sauerkraut
- Parsley
- Garlic
- Smoked Paprika
- Beef Stock
- Bay Leaves
- Spicy Brown Mustard (optional)
I use Fissler pressure cookers because I think they are the absolute best quality stainless steel pressure cookers available.
